DANCE POLICIES

 

Your child’s learning experience is the most important thing to us so we need your help! A dance studio is a place of focus, discipline and serenity where students can concentrate on all the information imparted by the teacher. Please read these policies and help your child receive the maximum benefit from his/her class.

 

OBSERVATION: At our studio, you are always welcome to observe class. However, if your child is having a hard time concentrating you may want to limit your observation.

 

BE ON TIME! All classes are organized to provide maximum warm up for the muscles and joints. The beginning exercises are important and will help prevent injuries.

 

 

HAIR:  Hair must be worn up at ALL times.

Buns are required for all COMBO classes.

Buns or pony tails for JAZZ.

 

PRE-BALLET: Pink tights, leotard (any color), pink ballet shoes

COMBO: Girls: Pink tights, leotard (any color), pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes

Boys:  White T-shirt, black tights or leggings, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes.

JAZZ:  Leotard, unitard, leggings, black jazz shoes

*Ballet Slippers should be pliable and should fit well

*No baggy T-shirts, sweatshirts or shorts

*No excessive jewelry
